If there’s one thing Wisconsin Pinto is known for, it’s our Awards. We believe that hard work, dedication, and passion deserve to be celebrated, and we go above and beyond to make sure our members feel just how valued they are.
Our prizes are selected by exhibitors, for exhibitors, ensuring they’re not only meaningful but also useful and exciting. From our weekend high points to our year-end award programs, there’s something for everyone to set their sights on and work toward.
In 2025, we were proud to award our first-ever free equine registration to an unregistered horse, and we’re thrilled to continue that tradition in the future.
At Wisconsin Pinto, we celebrate the true spirit of the “all-around” horse and exhibitor team. To us, an all-arounder is a single horse and exhibitor working together throughout the year, showcasing their versatility, dedication, and partnership across multiple disciplines. We are honored to recognize and reward these remarkable teams as they grow, achieve, and shine — together.
Members of the Wisconsin Pinto Horse Association can compete for a variety of awards that celebrate dedication, versatility, and achievement throughout the show season:

🐴 Weekend High Point Awards – Earn points at each show and take home awards for top-performing horse and exhibitor combinations in a variety of divisions.

🌟 Year-End High Point Awards – Accumulate points all season long toward prestigious year-end titles, recognizing consistency, excellence, and teamwork.

🌱 Rookie of the Year – New to the Pinto show world? This award highlights and celebrates outstanding first-year exhibitors making their mark.

🏅 Special Season Championships – Participate in unique themed challenges and bonus award programs offered throughout the year to add extra fun and rewards to your show season.

🏆 Specialty and Memorial Awards – Celebrate outstanding achievements, sportsmanship, and dedication with a variety of special recognitions presented at the Year-End Awards Banquet.

To qualify for the Weekend Show High Point and Year-End Awards, you must be a current WPtHA member and submit/Pay for your membership before your first eligible class.
Forms cannot be backdated.
horses must be nominated before any points will be counted toward Weekend or Year-End High Point awards. The nomination form is available below.
All Point Calculations are based on one horse, One exhibitor Combination across all divisions.
